Looks like a pig. Looks like an anteater. Looks like an elephant. It’s a tapir! Believe it or not, this curious-looking mammal is actually a relative of horses.

Tapirs eat as much as 75 pounds of fruit, berries, and leaves a day, so be sure to stock your refrigerator with lots of fresh produce. This one has a HUUUUUUGE appetite! In fact, this tapir likes foraging in the pantry after you go to sleep, and might even eat the veggies off your dinner plate if you don’t pay attention. It’s a true story…on of a million gazillion true stories our little tapir will star in once you bring it home.
