CMC (Carboxyl Methyl Cellulose) or Tylose powder is a man-made gum that’s used as a hardening agent and can be added to fondant to create gumpaste / modelling paste.

Add a small amount to fondant until it feels pliable, like modelling clay, to help models and decorations harden. For best results leave decorations overnight to let them completely set.

Tylose can also be used to create edible glue.

60g in screw top jar.
